1. Scope & Applicability
This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to all orders placed through thepetpackstore.in By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
2. Delivery Area & Serviceability

We currently deliver only within India (domestic shipping).

We attempt to service as many postal codes (pincodes) as possible using our logistics partners.

If your pincode is currently unserviceable, you will be notified during checkout or contacted by us.

In rare cases, we may refuse to ship to address types that logistic partners cannot access (e.g., remote islands, restricted zones).
3. Order Processing Time

Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 3-4 business days (excluding Sundays and public holidays).

If an item is out of stock, or if the product is shipped directly from a vendor/3PL, dispatch may take longer; we will inform you in such cases.

Cutoff time: orders placed after [e.g. 3 PM IST] may be processed the next business day.
4. Shipping Methods & Partners

We partner with trusted domestic courier companies (e.g., Delhivery, Ecom Express, India Post, etc.).

For certain product categories (e.g. food, powders, liquids, fragile items), special handling or specific courier services may apply.

For liquids, powders, or restricted items, we may ship via surface transport only (to avoid air‑transport restrictions).

We do not ship on Sundays and national/public holidays (unless explicitly allowed by the courier).
5. Delivery Time Estimates

Delivery times are indicative and may vary due to factors beyond our control (weather, courier delays, strikes, holidays, etc.).
6. Shipping Charges & Free Shipping

Shipping charges are calculated based on weight, dimensions, and destination.

Free shipping may apply for prepaid orders above a certain threshold (e.g. ₹19).

Cash on Delivery (COD) orders may incur an extra handling charge (e.g. ₹29).

For certain items (e.g. pet food, litter, bulky items), additional itemized shipping charges may apply per unit or per weight slab.

The shipping cost (or free shipping eligibility) will be shown at checkout before payment.
7. Cash on Delivery (COD) Terms

COD is available only for select pincodes and products (subject to logistic partner’s support).

COD orders beyond a specified maximum amount may not be accepted.

A COD convenience/handling fee applies (if applicable).

Multiple failed COD attempts or refusals could lead to COD being disabled on your account.
8. Order Tracking & Notifications

Once your order is dispatched, we will send you a tracking number via email/SMS.

You may also track your order by logging into your account on thepetpackstore.in and using the “Track My Order” feature.

We will notify you of status updates (dispatched, in transit, out for delivery, delivered, etc.).
9. Failed Delivery / Return to Origin (RTO)

If the courier attempts delivery but fails (e.g. incorrect address, recipient unavailable, refused delivery), the package may be returned to us (RTO).

In case of RTO:
• We will contact you and, if you wish, we can reship, subject to payment of fresh shipping charges.
• Repeated RTOs may lead to discontinuation of COD facility or order rejections. -
We recommend ensuring a valid, reachable shipping address and keeping your phone active during the delivery period.
10. Delivery Issues, Delays & Exceptions

We are not liable for any delay or failure caused by the courier, third‑party logistics, customs, natural calamities, strikes, or other force majeure events.

If a shipment is lost or damaged in transit, please notify us within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery date (or once you become aware), along with photographic proof.

We will coordinate with the courier for claims, and either replace the product or refund (as per our Refund & Return Policy).
11. Cancellation & Address Changes

You may request cancellation or address change only before the order is dispatched. Once dispatched, changes may not be possible.

If cancellation is accepted before dispatch, we will refund the amount (less transaction charges, if applicable).

If cancellation is requested after dispatch, refund and re‑shipping charges may apply, in line with our Returns/Refunds Policy.
12. Liability & Disclaimers

Title and risk in the goods pass to you upon delivery to the shipping address.

We are not responsible for delays or damage once the package is handed over to the courier, except in cases of proven negligence.

It is your responsibility to inspect the package upon receipt and, in case of visible damage, refuse to accept or record with the courier and notify us immediately.
13. Amendments & Policy Updates
We reserve the right to modify or update this Shipping & Delivery Policy at any time, and such changes will be effective from the date posted. We will display the “Last Updated” date.
